It features an antique farm machinery show\, including demonstrations of threshing\, wheat processing\, corn shelling\, and large steam engines. This year’s focus is on John Deere tractors\, and attendees can enter a raffle for a 1951 John Deere MT tractor. Other activities include corn picking and grinding demonstrations\, a working sawmill\, and space for displaying personal tractors and plows. The popular flea market will also return. On August 10\, a spark show with steam engines and fireworks will take place. DESCRIPTION:Welcome to our two-day weekend celebration to be enjoyed by your family as you step back in time at the Froelich 1890s Village Museum featuring our seven historic buildings. During the weekend come experience many old-time demonstrations\, museum tours\, a full line-up of tractors\, hit-and-miss engines\, the Threshing Demonstrations\, two Froelich tractor replicas on display\, Kids Fun Activities\, and the Froelich Tractor Invention DVD both days. Many NEW Vendors! Featured Saturday: a tractor & UTV ride\, great food in the barn including homemade pie\, pork loin sandwiches\, turkey-dressing sandwiches\, and sides. Sunday: Pancake\, sausage and egg breakfast\, Kids’ Pedal Pull\, and all the other demonstrations mentioned. At 3 PM the Big Raffle Drawing is held.
