This massive model was International’s entry into the large 4WD market. It was manufactured by Hough in Libertyville, Illinois. The design was influenced by the desire to be larger than the John Deere 8010, but unfortunately for International, the 4300 was “too big, too soon”. It had an IH 13.4L six-cylinder engine, hydraulic-powered two-wheel or four-wheel steering, air brakes, a six-speed or eight-speed transmission, and an open operator station or an optional cab with available air conditioning,
