DESCRIPTION:The White River Valley Antique Association (WRVAA) Show takes a step back in time for both farmers and city folk and draws over 18\,000 guests each year. This years show will have trucks\, over 700 antique tractors\, steam engines\, horse demonstrations\, field demonstrations\, hay press\, machine shop\, wood working shop\, threshing\, hand dipped candles\, sawmill\, gristmill\, largest flea market in the area\, food\, ice cream\, and much\, much more. There is a village with stores\, print shop\, hardware\, working post office\, and a bank\, all in the early 1900’s. There are many activities planned and this is an event that you will not want to miss! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMembership Cards: Available online for $20 until 9/1. Purchase at WRVAA Membership.\nEvent Gates: Open from 7 AM Thursday to Sunday. DESCRIPTION:Empire Tractor collectors will be traveling to South Haven for their 24th annual Empire Expo held in conjunction with the Antique Engine and Tractor Show at the Michigan Flywheelers Museum. \nIn an announcement from the Michigan Flywheelers Museum staff\, the expo\, to be hosted by the Empire Tractor Club\, kicks off Thursday\, Sept. 5 and runs through Sunday\, Sept. 8. \nOrganizers expect 10 to 25 Empire tractors to be on display by owners from all over the country including Canada. The expo is the highlight of the year for the club\, they say\, and is often held with existing large tractor shows. The group will have close to two dozens tractors to exhibit\,  informational displays about the tractor as well as hold a banquet awards dinner. \nThe Antique Engine and Tractor Show starts Thursday\, Sept. 5 and runs through Sunday\, Sept. 8\, 2024. Along with hundreds of antique farm machinery\, there is entertainment\, a large outdoor flea market\, antique tractor pulls\, kids activities and more. Admission is $10 per person with children 12 and under free. Admission specials include Senior Citizen Day on Thursday with admission reduced to $5 for 62 and older\, and the Sunday Special when admission is $5 for everyone. These are just a few of the things you can see and do at Lake Hope State Park’s Rural Ohio Appalachia Revisited (ROAR) Day. \nThis event\, always held the last Saturday in October\, celebrates all that is good about Appalachian culture through food\, crafts\, music\, and traditional skills. The day is designed to provide free and inexpensive fun for kids of all ages while celebrating Appalachia\, both past and present. \nThe schedule includes flint knappers\, soap makers\, painters\, a broom maker\, a woodcarver\, local history\, archery\, an antique tractor show\, and delicious food. Family-friendly activities will include Halloween fun for the kids\, pumpkin rolling\, pumpkin painting\, and other fun.
